Hi Angela, I have been using Evorel Conti for 16 years. I had to stop for a while early last year as a Hysteroscopy found I had a very large polyp which was removed Feb 2018. I have started back on Evorel (I cut the patches in half) It is normal to bleed/spot for up to a year while they settle down.

You could try cutting the patches in half and still apply twice a week as usual to keep a steady yet reduced dosage for the next 6-12 months? By applying the patches less often you are giving yourself more hormonal fluctuations. Clinic told me to stop estradiol and progesterone at 12 weeks. They said I could gradually reduce progesterone over another week or 2 (altho they said not necessary) but to stop the estradiol cold turkey without reducing. I did as told and everything was fine with my pregnancy. You should do this on the same two days each week. For example, you could change your Evorel patch every Monday and Thursday.
